Clinique Almost Lipstick

I never thought I’d get this excited about a lip colour
£20.00
TikTok’s favourite lip formulation, Almost Lipstick is famous for its chameleon-like ability to suit all skin tones, yet look different on everyone. Now Clinique has dropped a new shade – Pink Honey – and the beauty world is very excited.
Clinique’s Almost Lipstick range was almost axed, before public outcry led to the continuation of the bestselling Black Honey. (One is sold every three minutes worldwide, fact fans.)
Not quite a lipstick, not quite a gloss – this is more of a buildable balm. Almost Lipstick’s emollient-rich formula is what makes it magic. Think sheer coverage, soft shine and a subtle slip of colour. It’s fuss-free and very forgiving (you don’t need a mirror to apply), whether worn alone or layered over a louder lip colour.
Much like its cult sister shade, Pink Honey enhances the natural tone of your lips to create a flattering tint. It shares the same easy-glide, easy-to-apply formula as Black Honey – but with a more noticeable pink tint. Fans of a subtle lip will L-O-V-E.
Truthfully? I’m not really a lipstick person. I’m not #blessed with full-looking lips, and anything powerful leaves my mouth looking a bit like a letterbox.
Then in sashayed Pink Honey and now I’m hooked. Perfect for easing into 2024’s hottest lip trend (popsicle), it flatters thin and fuller-looking lips alike – in one swipe, or three – but it’s the barely there, balm-like finish that’ll have you longing to reapply. Almost Lipstick feels undeniably decadent, while, dare I say it, being a bit sensible, too – like you’re really taking care of yourself.
Used to bump up your natural lip colour, Almost Lipstick is truly the best version of what you already have. And who doesn’t want that?
