Launched in 1966 when the Van Doren brothers Paul, James and their friends opened the first store, Vans still remain popular amongst the skatering community today. Their simple designs are inspired by the skate, surf, BMX and snow teams they sponsor and have become a lifestyle brand for extreme sports enthusiasts.
