Digital Crown
Taking the classic watch crown, Apple has designed a timepiece that's made for navigating the web and inputting data. Simply turn the crown to precisely zoom and scroll between apps and menus or see your schedule using the Time Travel function. When you're done with a certain page, just push it like a button to go back to the home screen. It'll ensures that your finger doesn't have to get in the way of navigation.

Retina display
Allows for familiar touch inputs and makes text and images easy to see thanks an incredibly high pixel count. It can distinguish between a tap and a press to allow for pressure-specific controls.

Recognisable interface
WatchOS is a fresh yet familiar interface, designed around simple gestures, such as zooming and panning, giving you fluid and responsive navigation. It supports a wide variety of apps, including Siri, for even more convenient assistance.

The Glances function makes it quick and easy to get more information without pouring through menus. A simple swipe from the watch face highlights the moments that are important to you, when they're important to you: your next meeting, the latest sport scores, stock updates and even a map to your next destination. It also gently alerts you of notifications by using haptic feedback, which feels like tap on your wrist, ensuring you'll know when you next need to glance at your wrist.

A new way to communicate
With Apple Watch you can send and receive messages, calls and emails. You can also easily transfer from Watch to iPhone if you want to say more. But Apple Watch also introduces new ways to express yourself. Sketch a drawing on the screen and send it to a friend. Tap the screen to let someone know you're thinking about them. Or send a recording of your heartbeat, for a simple yet intimate way to tell someone how you feel.

Track your health
Apple Watch is designed to keep you active and help you live a healthy life. It features an integrated heart rate monitor and various other sensors to measure all of the ways you move, from walking the dog or lifting your children, to going for a run or working out in the gym, delivering an accurate account of your activity.

With the Activity app, everyday results are simple to understand. For more detailed measurements, the Workout app will show you real-time stats and let you set goals for each session, motivating you along the way. To check your activity history you can sync with the Fitness app on your iPhone.
