Members’ Week

1. Unless otherwise stated, our competitions are open to everyone.  

2. If you are under 18, you must get consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before entering any of our competitions and they must agree to these Terms and conditions on your behalf.  

3. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this competition. In the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence. 

4. The competition is open to UK residents only.  

5. Our competitions are free to enter and no purchase is necessary. 

6. Entries for our competitions must be submitted by using your My John Lewis account registered email address to log in to our website or app, and selecting to 'enter' the competition in the part of your account section headed 'Rewards and Treats'. You must then follow any relevant instructions in respect of the competition as directed in the further information in the app or website and/or in accordance with the information you received by separate email. Please note that only one entry per person is permitted.  

7. Entries received after the stated closing date above will not be accepted.  

8. We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault or that are incomplete, lost, delayed or misdirected for any other reason.  

9. Four winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process as soon as reasonably practicable after the competition closing date.  

10. The winners will be notified by email, text or phone call as soon as practicable after the prize draw, using the contact details provided with the Competition entry. The winner will be required to respond within 7 days of notification (unless otherwise stated) confirming their acceptance of the prize. Winners are advised to check their junk / spam folder.  In the event the winner does not respond to communications within this period or if the prize is declined, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and draw another winner.

11. The winners chosen by random draw will individually receive via email a £500 John Lewis e-gift card. This prize may vary.

12. You should note however, that we reserve the right to replace any prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary for us to do so and the winner will be notified of this accordingly.  

13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is rewarded. 

14. Our decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.  

15. We are obliged to either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation we will send the surname and county of any winner and, if applicable copies of their winning entry, to anyone who emails or writes to Marketing, My John Lewis, Win My Wish List Competition, John Lewis plc, the month the competition was run, 1 Drummond Gate, Pimlico, London SW1V 2QQ (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated above. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact us at the above email address. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.  

16. You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry and we reserve the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize(s) to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. We also reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.  

17. Data Protection and Publicity17.1 Personal data supplied during the course of this competition will only be processed as set out in our privacy policy    https://www.johnlewis.com/customer-services/shopping-with-us/privacy-notice.

17.2 If you have opted-in to receiving further information from the Promoter and/or its agents or suppliers, you agree that the relevant party may use and store these details to provide further information about their products and services (in accordance with the privacy policy of the relevant entity).

17.3 If you are the winner of the Competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and county of residence to announce the winner of this Competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes, for no further consideration.

18.   LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

18.1  The Promoter and its associated agencies, companies and distributors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

18.2  If you have opted-in to receive further information or marketing from any of the Promoter’s agents or suppliers involved in the administration of this competition, you understand and accept that the relevant third party will be solely responsible for any processing of your personal data for these purposes, that such processing will be governed by terms of that third party’s privacy policy and that the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in association with any such data processing for these purposes. 

19  GENERAL

19.1  If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the Promoter believes that your conduct may be unlawful or otherwise bring the competition into disrepute, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to make your entry void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude you from participating in the competition.

19.2  The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.

19.3  This competition and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.The Promoter is John Lewis Plc, a company with registered company number 233462 and registered office at 1 Drummond Gate, Pimlico, London, SW1V 2QQ

1.This up to £300 e-gift card redemption promotion (the “Promotion”) is valid for a limited period, starting Wednesday 7th May 2025 and ending Tuesday 3rd June 2025 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”). The Promotion applies to any qualifying transaction made within this period. The e-gift card reward value varies by product, with individual reward values identified on product listing pages. 

2.To qualify for this Promotion you must be a new or existing My John Lewis member. You must be logged in to your johnlewis.com online account, and have your My JL member number registered to that account.  

3.To qualify for this Promotion you must purchase a qualifying technology product either in-store, online or via app (see exclusion details below), and enter your My John Lewis membership number on the redemption site when claiming your e-gift card (Redemption site and details are on email confirmation).  

4.Only a select number of Technology products are included in the promotion and will be identifiable via their product page online, along with the e-gift card value for each product. Please see here for a full list of qualifying products. (List available during the offer period) 

5.Products included in the Promotion are subject to availability. 

6.If qualifying products are returned during the 30-day returns period, you will no longer be eligible to claim the e-gift card. 

7.You can claim the e-gift card between 3rd July 2025 - 16th July 2025 inclusive. 

8.One e-gift card can be claimed per qualifying transaction. In the event of multiple qualifying products being in a single transaction, the single product with the highest value e-gift card will qualify for the offer.

10.This Promotion is not valid at John Lewis Swindon Outlet. 

11.For this offer, you can redeem the John Lewis Partnership gift card or e-gift card via this site: https://www.johnlewis.com/customer-services/prices-and-payment/may25reward during the claim window. You can also use it to purchase food and drink in our catering units (excludes third-party outlets in John Lewis & Partners shops), and for goods over the telephone or online at johnlewis.com or waitrose.com as part or full payment. 

12.The following exclusions apply to use of our gift card and e-gift card: John Lewis & Partners Gift List, third-party restaurants and cafes in John Lewis & Partners shops, John Lewis & Partners Home Solutions, magazine subscriptions, photo printing or software downloads on johnlewis.com, all John Lewis & Partners Optician shops, Waitrose & Partners Cookery School, Waitrose & Partners  Leckford Farm Shop, Cafe and Nursery, Waitrose & Partners Rapid, waitroseflorist.com, waitrosecellar.com; waitrosegarden.com; waitrosepet.com;  tobacco and tobacco products, postage stamps, scratch cards, lottery tickets, infant milk formula 0-6 months, prescription products, mobile top up, gift cards, e-gift cards, pay cards, car park charges, all petrol stations, Welcome Break shops, UK and Channel Islands only. Other exclusions may apply.   

13.You cannot use a gift card or e-gift card  to discharge indebtedness in respect of an account card or credit card issued by John Lewis plc, Waitrose Limited or John Lewis Financial Services Limited, nor can you use it for the purchase either directly or indirectly of any financial product or service, including John Lewis Partnership gift cards and e-gift cards. 

14.Please protect your card and treat it as cash; we cannot replace lost, stolen or damaged cards.

15.The gift card will expire 24 months from purchase or last use. Buying a product or making a balance enquiry refreshes the 24-month expiry period. We will not refund any balance remaining and we will invalidate the card.

16.The Promotion is only available for products purchased for personal non-commercial use.  John Lewis reserves the right to not sell products to customers where it has grounds to believe that such products are being purchased for commercial use.   

17.John Lewis reserves the right to terminate the Promotion at any time at its discretion. 

18.By participating in this Promotion, you understand and acknowledge that we use a third party who will administer the Promotion and issue the gift card on our behalf.
