A potential safety issue has been identified with the above tumble dryer manufactured by Haier Europe, the brand owner of Hoover, between January 2019 and April 2024. The issue relates to a manufacturing fault in the tumble dryer, that can potentially result in the product catching fire when it is in use.

1. STOP USING THE PRODUCT IMMEDIATELY

2. Check Haier’s website here: https://productsafety.haier.co.uk to find out if your model is affected by inputting the serial number, see above image of where the serial number can be located on your product.

3. If your product is affected, you will be able to arrange for a modification to take place on the webpage above. Haier are offering an in-home modification to rectify the issue. A service engineer will attend your home, free of charge, to make a small modification to your tumble dryer.

The product should not be used until the modification has taken place. If the plug is accessible, switch off and unplug the appliance.
