45MP Full-Frame Sensor
Its full-frame CMOS sensor captures 45 megapixels of stunning clarity, with low noise and wide dynamic range. It’s the ideal working partner for Canon’s RF range of lenses. Driven by the DIGIC X processor, you can achieve just as high detail in low light, up to ISO 51,200.
Lightning-fast autofocus
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II features 5940 selectable AF points covering virtually 100% of the frame. So fast-moving subjects are always kept super-sharp. It’s programmed using deep-learning AI that recognises faces and eyes, even viewed from the side. Perfect for capturing moving people and even animals with rapid-reaction accuracy.
8K Ultra High Definition

RF Lens Mount
Its pioneering lens mount places the high performance optics of Canon's RF range of lenses at optimum distance from a full-frame sensor for a step forward in creative photography. It can be used with existing EF-S (with a cropped area) and EF lenses with no loss of performance, when attached to the Mount Adapter EF-EOS R (not included).
High Resolution Viewfinder
