What we’re watching, craving and obsessing over this week
Fridge cleaning, restocking and organising is big business, at least according 20.4 million people hashtagging #fridgeorganisation on TikTok. Let’s be honest, it’s hard to look away – who knew that plastic containers with perfectly arranged yoghurts, fruit or celery sticks could be quite so addictive to watch, not to mention so aesthetically pleasing? If you’re ready to hop on board the trend, first start by stocking up on various sized containers. You can’t go wrong with anything by OXO or iDesign.
Ahead of the Pride Parade in London on 2 July comes an exquisite drop of new prints from East End Prints, all picked to commemorate the occasion. We especially love bold and beautiful prints by Herald Black, the Irish-born printmaker who specialises in abstract shapes and opposing colours which promise to fit into any room in any home. We also highly rate Ana Jaks, whose unique, bright and standout graphics are genuinely amazing and thought-provoking. Brilliant art, for a brilliant cause, at brilliant prices. What’s not to love?
Everything I Know About Love on our screens
Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton has been a standout book loved by pretty much everyone, single, married, or otherwise since it was first published in 2018. And the TV adaptation has just hit screens on BBC 1, starring Bel Powley and Emma Appleton. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Everything I Know About Love is Dolly’s memoir all about her experiences of dating, love, and friendship. Here’s hoping the series is as hilariously on-point as the book.
Thanks to SJP giving old-school Carrie vibes in And Just Like That… in that phenomenal one-shoulder Norma Kamali Diana dress, wedding guests finally have something new to wear that’s not flowery and floaty. If you’re remotely worried about bumping into someone wearing the same thing as you at this summer’s packed wedding season, give a one-shoulder wonder a go. With versions from Mango to Adrianna Papell, there’s something for everyone.
