Perfect for use in the great outdoors, the FinePix XP80 considers all eventualities. It’s waterproof to 50ft, shockproof to 5.8ft, freeze proof to -10°C and dust proof so the camera really can take you anywhere.

Close up shots
Zoom right up to the action, even underwater with an internal 5x optical FUJINON zoom lens. The technology continues to impress with the addition of Intelligent Digital Zoom which, when combined with its 5x optical zoom, results in double the zoom range (10x) whilst offering optimum image processing.

High quality images with colour reproduction
The FinePix XP80 16 million pixel BSI-CMOS sensor is ideal for capturing stills, and frames, day or night. With its optical image stabilization which reduces blur, and Scene Recognition Auto to ensure that the optimum camera settings are deployed, the camera always captures high quality images.
When using the Fujifilm camera underwater, images are optimized using ‘Underwater’ and ‘Underwater macro’ modes to ensure colours are reproduced exactly as they are seen by the human eye.

Burst Mode
Characterized by high-speed processing, you can capture the action quickly and surely with a continuous shooting toggle. This dedicated 'Burst mode button' lets you instantly switch into continuous shooting mode which captures up to 10 frames/sec.

Remote shooting and instant image and movie sharing
Thanks to the cameras built-in Wi-Fi, you can transfer photos to your Smartphone or tablet, without having to enter an ID or password. And with Remote Shooting, you can even shoot picture from your Smartphone or tablet which allows you to adjust zoom settings or switch to move recording.

Video recording
With its CMOS sensor, the FinePix XP80 can shoot Full HD videos. Capable of freezing the action at an amazing 240 fps, you’ll be able to catch every detail. A wind filter and noise cancellation eliminates the sounds made by the zoom lens during recording. There are even a number of advanced movie-editing features, including ‘movie trimming’ to cut un-wanted footage from movies, and ‘movie join’ to join multiple separate clips into a single movie. A dedicated movie recording button makes it easy to switch between shooting stills and frames, with a single touch.
Better still, ‘Action camera’ mode is perfect for recording footage whilst enjoying outdoor sports. The camera can be fixed to your body or sports equipment whilst keeping your hands free. The LCD monitor even automatically turns off which supports energy-saving shooting.

Advanced filter
With a selection of 11 special filters including Sketch, Pop Colour, Fish-Eye and Soft Focus, you can create distinctive photo effects. Filter effects can be verified on the LCD monitor to ensure you get exactly the results you’re shooting for.

Versatile scene positions
The FinePix XP80 offers a selection of versatile scene positions that ensure optimum results no matter what the scene. Amongst them there is a dedicated Portrait scene position which softens skin tones as it enhances the overall natural look. There is even a scene for shooting underwater which captures the clear images of the ocean blue.
