Designed and manufactured in the UK with precision and care, this Konro Grill is inspired by the world-famous Japanese design, the Kasai Konro style grills. Whether you're grilling meats, fish, vegetables or adding the perfect finish to a sous vide dish, the Kasai Konro Grill is your ultimate cooking companion outdoors. Made with a brushed stainless steel finish, floating feet and convenient handles.
If you have ever travelled to Japan, you would have seen one of these style barbecues on just about every street corner, with an expert operator twisting yakitori skewers or some other delicious morsels. This compact and simple charcoal grill is made using a natural material that optimises heat retention. Now you can make delicious yakitori and other grilled dishes on your patio tabletop with this convenient Japanese-style charcoal grill.
The compact size and shape, and the firebrick/ceramic construction make these grills perfect for cooking skewers of meat or sliced vegetables. The food is inches away from the charcoal, and the juice that drips down instantly evaporates into a smoky cloud of deliciousness that infuses with the food on the grill. The hot temperature is also great for creating crisp caramelised skins on chicken and other meats.
Robata Rack
The Robata Rack takes cooking on a Kasai Grill to a new level. Rather than just controlling the temperature on the Kasai Grill, you can now adjust the distance between the food and the heat, allowing you to rest and cook an array of different ingredients all at once. Comes with two stainless steel grids.
Skewer Rack and Skewers
Works alongside the Kasai Konro Grill and comes with six skewers with stainless steel handles. They are ideal for grilling everything from spiced lamb to vibrant vegetables and squeaky halloumi. There's no need to lift skewers from the grill to turn, simply insert the food onto the skewer, slot into the frame and turn 360 degrees to ensure even cooking throughout.
Heat Mat
The nature of this style of cooking is based on the coals becoming extremely hot. Using charcoal instead of wood offers much greater heat due to a much higher energy content. With this in mind, Kasai have designed the Kasai Konro Grill Heat Mat to protect your surface.
