- Before first use, place the teat in boiling water for 5 minutes. After boiling for 5 minutes, remove the teat from the pot with tongs and place on a clean towel to dry. Prior to use, always inspect and pull the teat in all directions to check the product. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. For safety and hygiene reasons, replace the teat every 7 weeks.
