The even heat distribution of this versatile enamelled Cast Iron Roaster is ideal for roasting an entire chicken or leg of lamb, cooking homemade lasagne, casseroles or delicious side dishes like roast potatoes. When roasting meat, the dish can be placed on the hob for deglazing a gravy or sauce. Its wide design is optimized for oven roasting and allows perfect crisping and browning. Deep sides contain fat and juices that can splatter during cooking.
The roaster features large Le Creuset Signature handles for easier lifting and carrying, even when wearing oven gloves. Le Creuset Cast Iron Care
- Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the pan in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly
- Medium or low heat will provide the best results for cooking, including frying and searing
- The enamel surface is not ideal for dry cooking
- Always cool a hot pan for a few minutes before washing. Thermal shock may occur, resulting in cracking or loss of enamel
