Vibram XS Trek Evo Outersole
Merrell universally equips all their boots, shoes, trainers and sandals with a Vibram outsole. Lightweight, super grippy and longlasting, the Italian mountaineering company are called upon by Merrell due to their renowned status for designing soles with excellent traction and structured comfort. From hard-packed snow and forest floors to bare rock and loose rubble terrains, there's not a corner of the world that Vibram hasn't already conquered.

Highly abrasion and water-resistant, over 70 years of outerwear knowledge and experience has gone into this design. Built with a unique lug pattern that allows the foot to flex more naturally, the specially-designed metal shanks give you greater balance and comfort when exploring uneven terrain. With upgraded performance in grip compared to TC5, the Vibram XS Trek Evo sets a new standard for industry.

FlexPlate MidSole
Layered in the midsole, adding in lightweight, targeted stability, you'll find Merrell's FlexPlate technology. Designed to keep weight low without hampering performance quality, its pod structure allows for optimal firmness at the heel whilst still retaining flexibility around the toes. The variable material treats each area of the foot as unique to maximise support and cushioning across all-terrain, meaning you can walk further and for longer.

Kinetic Fit Base Insole
Ergonomically designed with a secure heel lock and odour control, the insoles come fitted with intuitive support to help protect your collective foot movements. Its arch coverage has been contoured with the ridges of your feet in mind, as the mesh liner helps to enhance sweat management.

Gore-Tex Membrane

From intense alpine sports to days hopping between warm cafes and cold streets, Gore-Tex protection keeps your feet dry and comfortable. Optimised to balance breathability with a waterproof shield, the body has been designed so that water drops can’t get in, but moisture vapour can escape through the billions of pores in the Gore-Tex membrane.
