Information from the brandProduct description
Product code: 71602913
Simple and elegant Aamani combines a mango wood frame with an entirely new material for nkuku, recycled paper cord, handwoven to create a strong and durable seat and back.
This classically-shaped piece holds a beautiful story of sustainability and ingenuity and we particularly love that this versatile and timeless silhouette is made entirely from wood in its various forms. Thanks to its laidback charms, this design fits into any scheme, from rustic kitchen bar to airy garden room.
For extra comfort, it comes with a linen seat pad with ties (and washable cover) but can equally be used without.
Also available as a dining chair and an occasional chair.

Brand information
At nkuku we work with makers throughout the world supporting and celebrating their skills by bringing their products to a wider audience. Founded in 2003 the name ‘nkuku’ (nuh-ku-ku) was borrowed from a hut in Zambia and the first order was for exquisite leather journals that are still in our collection today. From homewares to furniture, our collections may have grown but we still have the same hands-on approach meeting and working with our suppliers to create timeless pieces for the whole home.
Honouring traditional skills, we work in collaboration with our makers to craft unique products made from natural, reclaimed and recycled materials. We celebrate traditional crafts, and we want to ensure that age-old traditions are passed on to future generations.
We believe that trading fairly provides an opportunity to build a future, helping businesses develop and creating sustainable employment. These founding principles are still at the heart of nkuku today and we are proud to be B Corp certified.
