These nkuku Indra Coil baskets are beautifully handcrafted by NGO supporting rural craftswomen in Vietnam. Made from sustainably sourced seagrass which is naturally dyed, and hand spun and woven into a series of coils to create its rigid shape. The handles are hand stitched from goat leather, naturally dyed with tree bark and vegetable extract. Perfect for storing household items.

Brand information
Nkuku specialise in eco friendly and fair trade homeware and gifts, all made from natural materials using sustainable methods of production. Founded by Alistair and Alex Cooke, the name "Nkuku" was borrowed during their travels from a village in Zambia where the business plan was jotted down on the back of a paperback. Their aim was to promote the traditional skills of the artisans they met along the way.
