- To care for your lantern, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, dry cloth to prevent the build up of dust or dirt. We recommend a microfiber cloth in the circular motion for the glass. To remove excess wax, use warm water with a mild dish soap, be sure to dry immediately and do not soak.

At nkuku we work with makers throughout the world supporting and celebrating their skills by bringing their products to a wider audience. Founded in 2003 the name ‘nkuku’ (nuh-ku-ku) was borrowed from a hut in Zambia and the first order was for exquisite leather journals that are still in our collection today. From homewares to furniture, our collections may have grown but we still have the same hands-on approach meeting and working with our suppliers to create timeless pieces for the whole home.
Honouring traditional skills, we work in collaboration with our makers to craft unique products made from natural, reclaimed and recycled materials. We celebrate traditional crafts, and we want to ensure that age-old traditions are passed on to future generations.
