The nkuku Wamma desk chair combines a striking iron frame with a padded, dark brown leather seat with ribbed stitching detail. Each chair is handmade in India using traditional techniques. The chair is crafted from buffalo leather, a by-product, from herds situated in North India.

- Wipe leather clean with a soft, dry cloth. To protect the finish, avoid use of chemicals and household cleaners. To nourish the leather and to prevent drying out and cracking, apply a specialist product or using petroleum jelly or flax oil.

Brand information
Nkuku specialise in eco friendly and fair trade homeware and gifts, all made from natural materials using sustainable methods of production. Founded by Alistair and Alex Cooke, the name "Nkuku" was borrowed during their travels from a village in Zambia where the business plan was jotted down on the back of a paperback. Their aim was to promote the traditional skills of the artisans they met along the way.
