Buying a new sofa or armchair with us? Arrange to have your old one taken away.
We're working with Clearabee to provide a handy, cost-effective and responsible way to get rid of your old sofa.
When you order a new sofa or armchair with us, online or in store, you can arrange to have your old one collected.
Collections come with a 100% landfill diversion guarantee. As upholstered furniture can't be recycled, your old sofa will be converted into energy to help power production plants.

Clearabee are the UK's largest household furniture and sofa collection company.
They collect thousands of items every week from all over the UK (excluding Northern Ireland).

What will Clearabee collect?
Armchairs, sofas and sofa beds – up to five items per order.
Footstools will be collected for free when they're part of a larger order, so you won't need to count them as a separate item. However, larger items that come in two pieces, such as corner sofas and sofa beds with a mattress, will count as two items.
There are fixed prices, based on the number of items you'd like to be picked up. Simply select how many items you'd like collecting from the options below.
Arranging a collection
Once you've ordered a sofa or armchair with us you can pay to have your old one collected by visiting our website or any of our stores
Once you've paid, Clearabee will send you a confirmation email
Follow the link in your confirmation email to book a date for Clearabee to collect your items
On the morning of your collection, Clearabee will send you a collection time window of 4 hours
After your collection you'll be sent a note confirming the location of your items and the vehicle used to collect them

Will my old sofa be recycled?
All upholstery items collected come with a 100% landfill diversion commitment. Products will be converted into energy from waste in compliance with regulations. Energy from Waste facilities divert non-recyclable waste from landfill and convert it into a fuel source.
Where do you collect from?
Excluding Northern Ireland we offer a nationwide sofa collection service.
Will collection take place at the same time as my new sofa delivery?
We'll confirm your estimated sofa delivery date approximately 2 weeks before it's ready to be delivered. Once you have your delivery date you can log into your Clearabee account using the link in your Clearabee confirmation email and book your collection. Where possible we recommend you wait for your new sofa to arrive before booking your Clearabee collection.
Can I change my collection date?
You can change your collection date in the Clearabee customer portal up until the morning of your collection date. If possible, please try to make any changes the evening before your collection. If it is the morning of the collection and you need to change your collection you'll need to contact Clearabee by email or using their web chat.
What if the sofa is too big to fit through my door?
As long as it's safe to do so and won't cause any damage to your home, Clearabee can dismantle your sofa before removing it. They can't remove your door from its frame, or lower your sofa out of your window due to health and safety risks.
Will you collect a sofa from upstairs?
Yes.
How soon can you collect my sofa?
We offer a same-day or next-day service to most of the country.
Do I need to pay in advance?
Yes. We charge a fixed price based on the number of items you want us to collect. It saves time on the day and ensures our collection team has enough space on their vehicle for your collection.
I've already placed an order for my new sofa. Is it too late to add a sofa collection?
No, as long as you've ordered a sofa or armchair with us you can arrange a Clearabee collection via our website or by popping into any of our stores.
I've already added a sofa collection to my order. What happens next?
You'll receive a confirmation email from Clearabee. Use the link in the email to arrange your collection.
When will I receive my Clearabee confirmation email?
Usually within 1-2 hours. However, if you place your order on a Friday evening or over the weekend there could be a delay and you may not receive your Clearabee confirmation email until Monday morning.
What should I do if I have a question?
Contact Clearabee directly using the contact details on their website. If you've already booked a Clearabee collection, please email or use the web chat facility on your Clearabee portal.
