Laptops, TVs, speakers, headphones, hair dryers, electric toothbrushes, radios, soundbars, printers, monitors, kettles, toasters… designed to iron out life’s little wrinkles, PROTECT+ covers a lot more than you might expect.
What’s covered?
✔ Immediate protection of your product from accidental damage (including TV screen burn)
✔ Unlimited repairs on your product (including call-outs, parts and labour), with no excess to pay
✔ A replacement of the same or similar specification if it can’t be fixed or it’s uneconomical to repair it (this might be refurbished or remanufactured), or in some cases a gift card
✔ Delivery of your replacement product
✔ Replacement TV installation
What isn’t covered?
✘ Costs arising from not being able to use your product or damage to other property
✘ Loss, cosmetic damage, neglect or deliberate damage
✘ Costs for replacing any accessories, and disposal

✔ Repairs (including call-outs, labour, material), by expert technicians with no excess to pay, for:
- Stains, rips and tears
- Burns, liquid marks and heat rings
- Damaged caused by your own pets (two claims during the period of cover)
- Structural damage arising from accidental damage
✔ For stain related claims, a stain removal solution may be supplied
✔ You’ll get a replacement if it can’t be repaired (or we decide it’s uneconomical to repair your product) or a gift card

✘ Cost arising from wear and tear, age and normal use
✘ Neglect, damage during assembly, and deliberate damage

Complaints, refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations
You can cancel your PROTECT+ policy at any time. Should you wish to cancel your policy, please contact us on 0333 000 4994 (8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 6pm Sundays and public holidays). Otherwise, please return to the store with your documentation and receipt. You do not need to return your product to the store. You can also cancel by visiting www.myprotectplus.com or by writing to Domestic & General Insurance PLC, Leicester House, 17 Leicester Street, Bedworth, Warwickshire CV12 8JP.
If you cancel the policy within 45 days from receipt of your documentation or from the policy start date, whichever is later, you will receive a full refund of the premium paid.
After 45 days you may cancel the policy and will receive a pro rata refund of the premium you have paid based on the number of full unexpired months of cover remaining, regardless of whether a claim has been made, except where the Policy has ceased as detailed under ‘Our right to cancel your policy or bring it to an end’ in the Terms & Conditions.
If at any time we arrange to replace your product with a new or refurbished replacement device or give you a gift card settlement, your policy will automatically end. For home appliance policies we’ll then refund the premium paid by you for the remaining full months of your policy. For technology, mobile phone and furniture policies no premium paid will be refunded.
If this policy has been provided free of charge then you are not entitled to a refund.

Referral of your complaint to the FOS does not affect your right to take legal proceedings.
