Brand information
Founded in 1949, the Pony company was incorporated as a subsidiary of a major British manufacturer of hand sewing needles, knitting pins and haberdashery products. In the 1960s-70s, the ownership of the company was transferred and the headquarters are now located in the Nilgiri Mountain, 2200 metres above sea level in Southern India. Today the company manufacture Pony branded knitting pins, hand sewing needles and accessories which are sold in all the continents of the world.
