The Signature Bamboo in-drawer knife storage unit is a clever solution that keeps worktops clear of clutter. The undulating storage unit has a simple and functional design to store kitchen knives safely out of sight or in a child-locked drawer when you have finished using them.

This Signature Knife Drawer Starter Set comes with three Robert Welch Signature knives:

• 18cm Cook's Knife
• 14cm Utility Knife
• 10cm Paring Knife

It fits standard-sized kitchen drawers, but shallower drawers may not close fully if you are trying to store larger knives. The multi-award-winning Robert Welch Designs Signature kitchen knife collection was developed with professional chefs and is designed for purpose and practicality in everyday food preparations. The bamboo drawer unit is designed to house up to 13 knives.

Good to know: the Bamboo drawer unit has been designed to hold most Robert Welch Signature knives, but the following knives are not compatible with this knife unit: Signature Cook's Knife 25cm, Signature Deep Santoku Knife 17cm, Signature Flexible Slicing Knife 30cm.

Care instructions
Bamboo Knife Drawer Unit — For a quick clean, simply wipe over with a damp microfibre cloth and thoroughly dry. Or for a comprehensive clean wash with hot, soapy, water and dry thoroughly. Treat with a suitable food-safe mineral oil on a regular basis to maintain optimum condition. Wipe off excess oil and allow to dry before using.
Kitchen Knives — When washing your kitchen knives by hand (recommended), rinse your kitchen knives to remove all traces of food as soon as possible after use. Wash in warm soapy water with a microfibre cloth or non abrasive brush. Try to avoid soaking your kitchen knives and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing, using a microfibre cloth.
When washing your kitchen knives in a dishwasher:

• Wash on a short hot cycle 65°-75°C (150°-167°F)
• Use quality branded all in one dishwasher tablets
• Keep Rinse Aid topped up and Salt (for hard water areas)
• Avoid washing with non-stainless steel metals (this can cause rust staining)
• Ensure the dishwasher filters are cleaned and use a proprietary dishwasher cleaner regularly
