Quick Connect
The JS8000 features an all-new Smart TV system. With Quick Connect, the Samsung TV can automatically connect to Samsung smartphones once paired up with Bluetooth, so you can share video content between devices. The Smart system even has the ability to work with a multitude of games apps, providing console-free gameplay direct through the TV.

New Smart Hub Interface
The new interface to the Smart Hub is more responsive and playful too. This enables you to easily access the content you want to watch on such apps as Netflix and Amazon Instant. Ultra-High Definition Upscaling & 4K Video Streaming
Samsung’s JS8000 can now access 4K video streaming services from the likes of Netflix and Amazon, offering UHD content and popular shows like House of Cards and Better Call Saul. 4K Ultra HD televisions can even make standard content look better with upscaling. This means that you won’t have to wait to enjoy 4K content on the big screen because the TV will automatically adjust the high-definition picture to a near 4K Ultra-High Definition quality for you. Upscaling is a process through which a lower resolution signal or data source is displayed at a higher resolution. The upscaling process interpolates additional pixels from the source data, and produces a clearer picture on your 4K screen than a non-upscaled image.

Game-Changing HDR
Forays into colour-boosting High Dynamic Range (HDR) have begun, and Samsung are one of the forerunners. As members of the newly-founded UHD Alliance, they've rolled out a firmware update that makes this set HDR-compatible. Usually, studios are forced to dilute the colour of their shows and films to fit on our TVs. Now, screens like this can channel content from studio-to-living room with the same precision and utterly otherworldly hues. Enjoy eye-popping HDR content from such apps as Netflix and Amazon Instant Video (subject to firmware update).

Two tuners
With two tuners, it means that you have both Freeview HD and freesat HD built-in to the TV. You can split the screen and watch two channels at once, or watch one and record the other to an external drive via the USB port. No more missing out when your favourite shows clash!

Multi-Link Screen
Watch, browse and play at the same time with a Multi-Link screen. You can turn your TV into two TVs, enabling you to watch live TV as you use an app or watch another channel, all on the same screen. The size of each screen is also adjustable so you can get the most out of your choice.

Perfect partners
With TVs getting slimmer and built-in speakers getting smaller, choosing the right sound system is more important than ever. If you want to further enhance your TV's audio to add that extra audio punch, then a soundbar can come into play.
