Developed for versatility, the Britannia range from Samuel Groves suits a wide variety of cooking styles, from slow-cooking stews on an open fire, to searing your favourite cut of steak on your kitchen stove. The cast iron cookware is compatible with all heat sources, including induction hobs, as well oven safe and can be seamlessly moved between the hob and the oven. The cookware can also be used on the grill, barbecue and open fires. Cast iron is an effective heat distributor that provides superior heat retention, allowing the cookware to slowly gain and lose heat. The cookware's makeup allows it to be extremely durable and resistant to warping, denting and chipping.
Every pan is made in the UK, in the heart of the industrial midlands. The cookware comes pre-seasoned, which means it is ready for use straight away, without additional seasoning. With frequent use and time, the pan will develop a patina, an easy-release surface, making it virtually non-stick.

Metal handles
Metal pan handles heat up when cooking so be careful when lifting pans and touching handles. Please use an oven glove, mitt or pot holder when handling hot pans.

Register your new pan within 30 days to qualify for the Samuel Groves 'Pan for Life' refurbishment service. Samuel Groves will re-coat all non-stick pans and replace worn rivets, then re-polish back to new. The refurbishment cost is likely to be about a third of the cost of a new pan.
