The UBP-X700 delivers an awe-inspiring cinema experience into your home. As well as playing 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays and supporting High Dynamic Range (HDR), it upscales standard def. images for improved clarity. Plus it features Dolby Atmos surround sound for amazing audio, and offers a host of smart features, with built-in Wi-Fi. Able to play a wide range of discs and audio or video files, with a full suite of wired connections, it's kitted out to become your complete home entertainment hub.
4K HDR and Upscaled visuals
With a compatible TV, enjoy the stunning depth and realism of the 4K HDR picture. Boosting colour and contrast for a more realistic picture, this player supports multiple HDR formats including HDR10 and Dolby Vision. And if you don't have an HDR TV, Sony's HDR-SDR conversion tech intelligently scales HDR’s ultra-wide brightness range into an SDR image for improved picture quality. Meanwhile, BT.2020 colour spaces offers a wider colour range than standard players, so all the hues in nature can be authentically reproduced.
Dolby Atmos Sound
Dolby Atmos treats sound sources within a three dimensional space, so whatever you're watching or listening to, with compatible speakers, the audio will be remarkably immersive and spatially separated.

This player will support playback of discs purchased in the same region (Region 2 for DVD, Region B for Blu-ray) unless otherwise specified in the player documentation.
