Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch provides 164 exciting, family-friendly, side-scrolling platform courses for both old and new gamers alike. Requiring just one Joy-Con controller per player, you can team up right from the off!

Thanks to easy to use controls, a Super Guide, Hints gallery, as well as numerous helpful reference videos, Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a great, frustration-free, entry point for younger or older members of the family who are interested in playing video games for the first time.

Story mode provides two different, adventurous courses for you to explore:

  • Super Mario Bros. U has Mario trying to defeat Bowser. Can you reach Princess Peach’s castle and save the Mushroom Kingdom?
  • Please step up… Luigi! Yes, Mario’s younger brother finally gets the starring role in: Super Luigi U. This version of the game is harder and faster. You can jump higher, but you’re going to skid more and there’s less time to finish.

Challenges mode allows you to test your skills, thanks to various themed challenges – some of these won’t be playable in the main games.

Coin Battle has you take on up to 4 friends and see who can snaffle to most coins. Play the included challenges or customise to make them your own.

Boot Rush has you playing the courses while the scrolling increases in speed. Collect coins and see if you can get the best time!
