When you want to ski from first lift until last, on groomed corduroy or cutting fresh tracks, you need a Ski Jacket that'll give you dependable protection from mountainous winter weather. The North Face Descendit Jacket combines technical waterproof fabrics, warm Heatseeker™ Insulation and a feature set that keeps snow out, warmth in, and you comfortable enough to make the very last lift of the day.

Built from DryVent™, The North Face's own waterproof and breathable fabric, it's engineered with a Durable Water Repellent finish that helps water or snow form droplets and roll off the fabric. DryVent™ prevents water molecules from penetrating the fabric while allowing moisture vapour to pass through, keeping you dry and comfortable, even when skiing hard.

Insulated with HeatSeeker™, the Descendit Jacket supplies ample warmth for really cold skiing days and long chair lift comfort. HeatSeeker™ insulation traps warm air between its synthetic fibres, for thermal efficiency that compresses easily. It's supple and low-profile allows for the freedom of movement that's essential during dynamic skiing.

Storm-protective features on the jacket include a dedicated Ski Helmet-compatible hood with volume adjusting drawcords, a powder skirt and hem drawcord that prevents snow and cold drafts getting inside the warm, inner shell, and wrist gaiters that keep sleeves in place, maintaining warmth and further eliminating drafts.

The drop hood design ensures the high collar warms your neck whether the hood's up or down. Its pit zip vents can also be undone on demanding runs and warmer morning when you need to cool down.

All these features don't come at the expense of space. The Descendit jacket has a useful secure-zip wrist pocket designed to hold an electronic lift pass for quick and smooth entry at the lift gates, an internal media pocket that keeps your phone close to hand, and an internal Ski Goggle pocket. It also comes with a handy ski goggle wipe clipped into the sleeve pocket, a distinctive zipped chest pocket and two zipped hand pockets.
