This mattress pad from Vispring is designed to provide an extra layer of protection between your pocket spring mattress and the slatted wooden base of your bed frame. Not to be confused with a mattress protector which sits on top of your mattress, this pad sits underneath your mattress and on top of the bed base, and it attaches to the base with string ties and eyelets. As a result, you have a tough layer that prevents friction and wear and tear to your mattress as it stops any moisture or splinters working their way into the mattress from the wooden slats.
Made from breathable wool, this pad complements the natural properties of your Vispring mattress. To ensure maximum comfort and performance, the bed frame slats should be no more than 8cm apart when using a pocket spring mattress.
