The Classic Ikon series brings a sleek, elegant and comfortable handle to the precision and durability of an all-purpose kitchen companion. The half bolster (the protective junction between the handle and blade) allows the knife to be honed and sharpened the entire length of the blade.
Meticulously crafted from a single piece of premium German steel, a knife in the WÜSTHOF Classic series possesses the integral strength of a fully forged blade through a 54-step manufacturing process consisting of a combination of laser-precise machinery and world-class artisan expertise. Its comfortable ergonomic handle is made from POM, a durable material with tight molecular structure to resist fading, discolouration and build-up of insanitary material.
