This second generation of the A1 has been upgraded with refined, slimmer design, an overhauled user interface, and a host of new features including a three microphone array for superior call quality and boosted battery life.
Triple microphone array for excellent call quality
Using three microphones, you get improved clarity when using the A1 2nd gen as a speakerphone. Also, the Microsoft Swift Pair and Google Fast Pair features give you quick and easy set-up if you want to use the speaker for business conference calls.
Next gen battery
Its improved battery lasts for up to 18 hours at typical volume levels, and up to 48 hours at lower, moderate volumes.
Refined interface
An enhanced user interface includes an LED on top, as well as a fuel gauge so you’re kept aware of battery level.
Connect with Alexa by Bluetooth
It’s simple to connect to the Alexa voice assistant on your paired Bluetooth device. Using Far Field microphone technology, Alexa can be activated from up to 5 metres away, and remains responsive for up to three hours after being turned off. So you can ask your smart device's Alexa assistant for your music choices, info, or to call friends or family. With a reliable Bluetooth 5.1 connection, you get super-stable connectivity and accuracy.*

Wherever you rest the A1 2nd Gen speaker, you can rely on sound that is delivered with power and punch. The speaker has been designed to disperse sound omni-directionally, so you receive the same sound quality, wherever you are in relation to it. Two drivers, amps and speakers produce rich and detailed, full-frequency sound that belies the speaker’s size.

The aluminium dome has been purposely designed with a rigid frame to ensure that its components are well protected. And, with IP67 rating, it will withstand being dropped into water up to a metre deep for up to half an hour, and is safe from sand and dirt.
Beoplay app
B&O Play’s app complements your speaker with a stylish and practical interface that unlocks a rich range of features. Set the name and colour of your speaker, and personalise the way you want to hear your music with the intuitive ToneTouch feature. You can even set-up Wireless Stereo Pairing, letting you link this to an identical speaker to double the sound output.
