Whilst you won't find many penguins native to Minneapolis or NYC for that matter, it didn't exactly stop fashion salesman Abbot Pederson from acquiring one on passing a taxidermist's shop during a trip to The Big Apple. Having spent the flight home to Minneapolis arm in arm with his new drinking buddy (after all it was the 50s) Abbot convinced his employers to immortalise his companion — For over 60 years 'Pete' has featured proudly upon Original Penguin’s signature clothing.
