Care information
For general cleaning, use soap and warm water. For a more thorough cleansing and problems with strong odours, use a solution of warm water and bleach (6:1 ratio) with a sponge or mildly abrasive rag. Odours can easily get trapped in hard-to-reach areas such as around the gasket, so be sure to thoroughly scrub those areas. For tough stains and very foul odours, clean your YETI with a high-pressure soap spray found at a local DIY car wash.
Regularly clean after (every) use with fresh water to clear any debris, such as sand, dirt, etc., from the zipper. After cleaning, apply a bit of zipper lubricant to keep things moving and prevent damage. Just open the zipper and apply a thin layer of lubricant to the front and back surfaces of the U-dock and adjoining teeth. Wipe away any excess lubricant. Open and close the zipper to make sure everything is working well, and do not ever force the zipper if it feels stuck. Remember to store closed in a dry, safe place and avoid crushing or folding to keep your zipper in the best shape possible.
