How do I choose the right size light?
It is important to measure the room and also to take into account the other elements in the room, such as furniture and wall decor when choosing the right size light. A small light in a large room may look out of place, while a large light in a small room may overwhelm the space. The height of the ceiling should also be taken into account. A higher ceiling may require a larger light, while a lower ceiling may require a smaller light. A light intended to provide task lighting, such as a reading light or desk lamp, should be smaller and more focused, while a light intended to provide ambient lighting, such as a chandelier or ceiling light, should be larger and more diffuse.
